Instructor: Wendy Greiner Q Computers Web Department Manager & Trainer
wendyg@my-qpc.com Wendy Greiner, Computer Trainer

For the last 30 years Wendy has been helping students learn.  The last 7 years have been at the computer keyboard but the 23 years before that were at the piano keyboard.

For the first 15 years of her career, Wendy worked in the music field as an educator and music director. Computers were only her hobby but everyone was always asking for her help with their software questions. So in 2003 she opened Wendy's Web Weaving as a full-time web design and development firm as well as teaching computer classes through Mankato's Community Education program.

Wendy has helped more than 2300 students and small businesses learn to use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, QuickBooks, Web Development and Facebook as well as numerous other computer softwares and websites. Wendy's style of teaching has helped many small businesses learn and grow with their technology skills far enough to help and create marketing pieces on their own.

In her spare time, Wendy loves to help children and teens achieve their goals through her volunteer work. She still directs a church children’s choir and helps out frequently with Boy Scout Troop 95 in Mankato. She still keeps her hand in the music field by directing River Bend Bells, Mankato’s Community Handbell Ensemble. She is also the volunteer web designer for the Minnesota South Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

Wendy cherishes time at home with her husband who also works at Q Computers and with her two sons and their families.

Q Computers Teaching Philosophy: Computers are as different as the individuals using them.  To give step by step instructions for each different kind of computer and circumstance would be impossible.  Because of that, we teach hands-on by concepts and ask that each student apply those concepts to their own situation.
