Building Blocks For Website Design I (Intermediate Level)

This course is for students, familiar with email and the internet, who are considering their own website for business or personal use and intend to put their plan into action. Students will learn the basic building blocks and steps necessary to begin the process of creating a web site. This course does NOT include designing a website but will teach students how to purchase a domain name, what's involved in web hosting, and how to upload your designed pages to the internet. ARE YOU READY? You are ready for this class if you are comfortable with browsing the internet and have looked at several different types of websites. SOFTWARE NEEDED TO USE THESE SKILLS AT HOME: A computer with an internet connection.
