Dreamweaver (Intermediate Level)

Instructor - Wendy Greiner

Location - Lincoln Community Center

In this class, students will explore the Dreamweaver MX 2004 interface, and learn how to: 1) design a basic page in Dreamweaver, 2) define a website in Dreamweaver and 3) upload information to their website. Students will also learn how Dreamweaver makes creating tables, forms and links a snap. We will discuss Dreamweaver preferences and how they can help to make your site quicker to view. Feel free to bring one of your completed web sites along on a flash drive or CD to work with. If you wish to make changes to your existing site, please bring along your FTP user name and password. ARE YOU READY? You are ready for this class if you are an intermediate computer user, have experience using the internet, are comfortable with Windows File Management and have either worked with HTML, Front Page or another web design program. SOFTWARE NEEDED TO USE THESE SKILLS AT HOME: Dreamweaver MX 2004 will be used for the class, but the basic concepts taught will apply to most versions of Dreamweaver.
