Organizing Your Computer For You

In this class you will learn: how to use files and folders to keep your computer more organized and items easier to find, how to store Internet favorites in folders, how to organize your email into folders, how to move files around inside of windows and how to move files from one computer to another. We will also explore different kinds of storage media (floppy disk, flash drive, CDs, DVDs) and how to use each one. To use these skills: Windows XP or Vista and Internet Explorer 8 will be used but the basic concepts taught will apply to most versions of Windows and Internet Explorer.
