The internet has evolved into a social environment as well as an information clearinghouse. Learn how to choose which social networking websites to join and how to keep your identity safe. Learn how to save time by combining all your efforts into 1 or 2 pieces of software instead of updating everything separately. Discover lifelong friends and classmates as well as advertise your business. Please note: this class is an overview class and will not focus on any one specific website. If you are interested ONLY in Facebook or Twitter – please see those class descriptions. To use these skills: Windows XP or Vista and Internet Explorer 8 will be used but the basic concepts taught will apply to most versions of Windows and Internet Explorer.
